Students vs Staff Football
There was fantastic action in the grade 5 students versus staff football game on Wednesday, May 30th. This fun event was a fundraiser to support Ryan Leslie who is one of the founders of the Hyack Football program. Ryan recently had a setback where he is now paralyzed.
Students and staff came together for a football game that included players from the New Westminster Police and some coaching from the Hyacks football program. Farhan Lalji was on hand to lead the grade 5 students and school trustee Casey Cook was present in the crowd.
The action-packed game ended in a tie with 3 touchdowns each!
